Dogs & Dog Control

Residents on the Patmore Estate are permitted to keep dogs, subject to the following conditions:-

1.    The dog is micro chipped.

A free service is provided by the Council’s Dog Control team. You can contact the team

on 020 8871 7606, or email dogcontrol@richmondandwandsworth.gov.uk

2.    The dog owner complies with the dog byelaws, which are in operation on the Estate.

These require that:

·      The dog is kept on a lead at all times on the Estate

·      The dog is not allowed in amenity greens and playgrounds

·      The dog is not allowed to foul on the Estate

N.B. Any breach of the dog bye laws may result in prosecution and a fine of up to £500.

3.    The dog (or any other pet) does not cause a nuisance to other residents.

This includes barking or aggressive behaviour.

Failure to comply with these conditions will result in withdrawal of permission to keep a dog,

and in extreme cases, legal action for breach of tenancy and lease conditions.
